Kosha Dillz doesn’t stop working while others relax on summer vacation, Dillz keeps going. Fresh off the recent  Hot97 Summer Jam battle win (which we posted videos of earlier on the Daily) that landed him a single deal with Brooklyn Based Duck Down Records, he has decided to keep the summer buzz going by leaving the east coast rain and embarking on the “Fun in the Sun Tour.” Spanning from LA to Oklahoma all the way to the Washington State, this hot emcee is using time to build up the buzz for his freshman solo LP, Beverly Dillz, whose first single Cellular Phone is currently rising to the top of the US college radio charts. The album produced entirely by Belief, known for his work with artist from Murs to Beanie Man to El-P, is  a uptempo, synthesized sample free introduction to the fast life of Hollywood Underground through east coast perspective, sprinkled with a special touch of “kosher” heritage and culture. Kosha dillz will not be alone on this trip, bringing Alaskan artist of the year Akream on board to the lower 48 states and Black Skeptik of the Mayhem Poets, who recently won MTVU’s Freshman 5 with his video “Rent”, featuring KRS-One. Flex Mathews (DC) will appear on select dates. Lets hope the weather is nice.
