On Valentine’s Day, Miami will host a conversation with Jews who love(d) Hip Hop. “Jews in Hip Hop” is a panel discussion that will address Jewish identity, Jewish contributions to Hip Hop and weigh in on claims that Jews have exploited and manipulated Hip Hop culture. Join presenters Next @ 19, Temple Israel of Greater Miami and PATH: Preserving, Archiving & Teaching Hiphop, Inc. for this unprecedented event Thursday, February 14 at Temple Israel of Greater Miami (Guava Rugelach Lounge, 137 NE 19 St. Miami, Fl 33132) @ 7pm. It is free and open to the public.
The list of celebrated panelists includes international recording artist Y-Love, Seth “Brimstone” Schere (Brimstone127, LLC/PATH, Inc.), DJ Trails (Hip Hop Elements / Pro AM) and Michael Rosenfeld (Universal Records / founder of Youth Expressions).
