Remedy Wu Tang?

I’m still not totally familiar with Remedy, but his name comes up a lot as the Jewish member of Wu Tang Clan. Mostly from his promotion of that fact. about 10 yrs ago he recorded a track called Never Forget. I think it might be on every album he has released to date. It’s a great song and one he won’t let us forget. Well, this past weekend at Northeastern, Remedy was set to perform as an opener for Y-Love. No doubt the main promotional point was that he was a member of the Wu Tan Clan. This time it bit him in the a** though, because when the University got word of the fact that someone who rapped with Wu Tan Clan was to perform on campus, they freaked out! They thought that Remedy was IN IN IN Wu Tang Clan and so they immediately contacted him to let him know that he will not be allowed to perform and furthermore….he would not be allowed to even step foot on campus. This was upheld so strongly that if you went to Hillel at any point over Shabbat, you would see the sign (photo below) that went into detail of how Remedy would not be on campus nor performing….

They thought that this Remedy Ross rapper would be bringing in tons of hood rats from the outskirts of Boston. The whole thing was ridiculous, ironic and for a Martin Luther King weekend….um, ridiculous? I could just hear the future University staff threatening performers for years to come, “DO YOU NOT WANT TO BE ALOWED TO EVEN STEP FOOT ON CAMPUS!!” and under their breath saying, “like Remedy!”
