Snoop Dogg, Kid Cudi, Kosha Dillz & Diwon Update
Big things are happening for Kosha Dillz; while the Summer looked small only a month ago, the tides have turned! Dillz has overseas dates with Snoop Dogg lined up, along with a slew of American dates with MC Pigen and Pat Maine that kick-off this week. Dillz made a surprise appearance this past weekend at the Bamboozle festival in NJ. MTV, who recently called Dillz, “our new best friend” and charted his “Cellular Phone” video at #24 in their Top 100 music video countdown; FUSE will air his “Cellular Phone” on demand from June through July.
As for new music, Kosha Dillz and Diwon are prepping for a secret mixtape release. The mixtape, titled “Bonna Jamz,” will showcase numerous Bonnaroo artists for this year’s festival. Along with the tape, there will also be a May 13th release of Dillz’s video, “Doo Doo” directed by Robbie Barclay. Plans to record a new LP this summer with Belief, who produced Dillz’s Beverly Dillz album, are in the works along with a heavy rotation of West Coast tour dates. Dillz & Diwon will also be making a slew of guest appearances on the Warped Tour this summer.
Dillz & Diwon have remixed Snoop Dogg’s “That Tree” which features Kid Cudi, the remix has been entered into a contest and fans are encouraged to vote. Voting takes place at: http://bit.ly/snooprmx
