Brody is a rising Moroccan Israeli/American singer who bridges the worlds of soul,
hip-hop, electronic and world music. A child member of the famed Miami Boys
Choir, Brody taught himself bass, guitar, piano, and drums.
At 21 Brody heard "Right Now" by Akon on the radio and having lived by the Hassidic concept of taking the mundane and everyday elements and raising them up to G-d, he remixed it blending the 16th century Kabalistic text of "Lecha Dodi" placed the mp3 on youtube and soon gained thousands of fans.
Scheduled for a fall release, Brody’s debut record “Ad Matai” will propel him thousands on youtube to a worldwide audience. The record features his smooth voice singing and rapping in
English and Hebrew of sustaining faith and hope while on the streets and in a violent Holy Land. His deep spiritual longing balances hard-hitting rhymes as he seamlessly blends hip-hop and Middle-Eastern beats.
