Out of all the Jewish rappers with a Jewish mission and identity, Kosha Dillz is the only one to have been so widely accepted by the rap industry and its biggest artists from Rza referring to him as the “rawest Jewish kat I know” to The Hip Hop Living Legend himself, Murs signing him to the #MURS316 imprint for his latest record, “Awkward in a Good Way”.
Here is the case in point, a video with hip hop’s hottest rapper of the moment, A$AP ROCKY freestyling with Kosha Dillz himself in France at the Eurockeenes Festival accompanied by Matisyahu, who brought Kosha to Europe this summer for festivals with Macklemore, Fat Freddy’s Drop, and Phoenix and Snoop Lion amongst others. In the video, A$AP refers to Kosha in the freestyle rhyming, “my home boy is Jewish, you know we do this….”
Kosha Dillz’ upcoming album, Awkward in a Good Way, is scheduled to release Nov 5th on Murs’ label, #MURS316, and it features Murs along with Gangsta Boo of Three 6 Mafia. * Pre-order the album on iTunes.
