DJ AM: 2nd life fails him

Nearly a year after surviving a plane crash in South Carolina, disc jockey Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein was found dead in his New York apartment Friday afternoon, his publicist said. He was 36. Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker was more than just a friend to DJ A.M., who passed away Friday of a suspected drug overdose.

The two were also musical collaborators and both survived that deadly airplane crash that killed four people last year.

On Saturday, Barker opened up for the first time about the loss of A.M.

He says:

“Don’t know how i am gonna play 2night but i am for AM. My brother is gone.i love u and miss u, i’ll never forget all the good times we had.

I’ll never forget everything we’ve been thru and every time i play the drums i’ll think of you. U were an amazing friend/DJ/human being.

Rest In Peace my brother….

“Such a huge loss”, Perez Hilton says.

Adam was truly one of those people that NO ONE had anything bad to say about.
